Abigail (Abby) Mackenzie Unger was born on June 2, 1997 in Denver, Colorado. At the age of six, Abby and her sister attended a birthday party at a local gymnastics facility, and the rest is history. Abby quickly progressed through the USAG levels, competing Level 5 in 2005, Levels 6 & 7 in the 2006-07 season, Level 8 in 2008, Level 9 in 2009, and she has been a Level 10 since 2010. Outside of the gym, Abby maintains an A average. She will attend ThunderRidge High School as a freshman in 2011-12. Her anticipated graduation date is 2015. Abby enjoys hanging out with friends and family. She has a collection of hippos and nearly 300 can be counted in her room!! Her favorite color is purple, she loves all kinds of music (including 80's hits) and her favorite TV show is Glee.
